VOYAGEUR PADDLING

We are now able to restart Members' Voyageur canoe paddling! Phase 3 of Return to Sport (Paddle) allows us to paddle our voyageur canoe—with limits. Our new program allows for only 6 paddlers instead of the normal maximum of 14. The cohort is the club membership, so this is for members only.

As with all PMPC programs, we will be asking every paddler the now usual health questionnaire upon arrival at the club...If you do not feel well, please stay home! We also have additional cleaning protocols to ensure a safe COVID-friendly paddling experience. We encourage you to bring your own PFD and paddle if you have them; if not, no worries, we won’t share equipment without sanitizing it first.

Here is the schedule for October:

Mondays at 10 to 11:30 am

Fridays at 10 - 11:30 am

Pre-registration is required for any session. As a member program, there is no additional cost for a session.

If this interests you and you aren't yet a member, not to worry! You can still sign up to become a member now. The registration system doesn’t know how to do a prorated membership rate, so it’s the same as if you had signed up in April—when no one could paddle anyway! $180 plus GST.

To register for a session or to become a member, see our registration page here.

We are extending the registration numbers...if there are more than 6 people wanting to paddle, extras may paddle a canoe or kayak.
